writing the dream i had in 2008, put on the tv screen with a bad quality porno film at background, make it like a shoddy subtitle system.
dream:
20th Feburary 2008
Test Tube Youngster And Fragile Glass
I was living with Olivier in a so-called luxurious apartment in Paris, but it seemed to me the sort of old Chinese dormitory building in 1980′s . In addition, it was filthy and shabby. Looking out of the window, I saw a second-hand market where many Arabs were selling antique furniture. Food from the 60′s was sold in a Chinese supermarket. Some stranger gave me a plastic gun, grey, seemingly advanced. Just as I was wondering how come this gun had replay and play function buttons, the gun started to tell me what its previous master was like. Inside the image, a young boy, a brown coloured mix-blood, was cycling through a place where I used to live when I was young. He killed a middle-aged man with that gun. Soon afterwards, he was selling his flesh in a dark night, sweating away, sucking another man’s cock, attending to yet another man… Poor boy. At last he was shot to death. His gun was in my hands. It was not a toy. But what else could I do with it? I thought I’d sell it in the second-hand market. I met another youngster in the market, he was selling second-hand watches. He showed me his collection; some new looking ones were modern and stylish, there were old-fashioned ones too. He told me that these watches were worn by people such as Goerg Wilhelm Fredrich Hegel and Lu Xun. I discovered that Friedrich Nietzsche and Rabindranath Tagore had owned the same poorly-designed, black watch. As I was dubious about whether he was a con-artist, the younster told me in fact he was a test tube, and he wrote as well. So he showed me the books he wrote, his wording was particularly affected. The last sentence, as I remembered, was like this, “In our times many a people make a living by delivering Coca-Cola. We call this group of people the Coca Men. The Coca Men have intensified the economic society and have rushed it to the morbid end.” Now he became a test tube whose width was equal to its height. After I woke up, I tried to sort out my thinking process and came to the conclusion, consisting of the following things: gun=camera, boy=glass, the knowledge of the intellectual=the bitch of time, Coca-Cola=test tube, I =second-hand.
